One thought that ocurred to me ... instead of (or as well as, or partially replacing) the flashing LED lights which we cyclists wear these days in winter city traffic?
The flashing light would give a different texture from the caving light − a broken line instead of a solid one − and comes in both red and white. If (for example) a red flashing light was worn on the same ankle/wrist as a continuous one, red dots or dashes would “punctuate” the solid line...
